Welcome to Beijing, the capital of China! When you arrive in Beijing, you will meet your private tour guide and driver. They will take you to the hotel and help you check-in. For the remainder of the day, you can explore near your hotel.

In the morning, follow your private tour guide and walk through Tiananmen Square. Then you will get to the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum. You can learn about the imperial palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. At noon, head to Siji Mingfu Roasted Duck Restaurant and enjoy crisp Peking Duck.
In the afternoon, travel to Jingshan Park, a royal garden. Climb up Jingshan Mountain and overlook panoramic view of downtown Beijing and the Forbidden City. After dinner, conclude today's journey with a Beijing Opera performance at Liyuan Theatre. You can enjoy local snacks and famous Chinese tea while watching artists perform.

This morning, you will visit Mutianyu Great Wall after a 2-hour drive. Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best sections of the Great Wall. Taking the cable car, you can go up to the mountain easily. Hike on the Great Wall and overlook winding mountains and magnificent views. Then take the Mutianyu toboggan ride down the Great Wall.
After enjoying lunch at a farmhouse restaurant near the Mutianyu Great Wall, you will continue to the Summer Palace. You can climb up to the top of Longevity Hill and have a broad view of the Summer Palace. Relish in the serenity of taking a boat tour on picturesque Kunming Lake. For dinner, you can taste authentic Beijing specialty, copper hot pot.

In the morning, you will visit the Temple of Heaven and learn about how ancient Chinese emperors offered sacrifices to heaven. Join locals and do morning exercises, such as Tai Chi, dancing, flying kites or practicing Chinese calligraphy on the ground with water.
Take a rickshaw to travel through Beijing Hutong where many courtyard houses locate here. Feel the old Beijing way of life and visit various Antique shops, cozy cafes and trendy boutiques.
In the afternoon, you will head to high-speed rail station and take the high-speed train to Xi'an. After about 5 hours, you will arrive in Xi'an and meet your local tour guide. After checking in at the hotel, you can explore Xi'an on your own.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum for a visit to the Terracotta Army. You can experience the majesty of the Qin Dynasty army up close and marvel at the skillful craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen. Under professional guidance, you can make your own Terracotta Warriors model.
After lunch, return to downtown Xi'an and travel to the well-preserved Xi'an City Wall. You can stroll along the City Wall or ride a bike. Stop at archery towers or gate towers and explore these ancient architectures. In the evening, find local Muslim cuisine to fill your stomach at the busy Muslim Quarter (Huimin Street).

In the morning, you will visit Shaanxi History Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda which carry the ancient history of Xi'an and China.
In the afternoon, transfer to Chengdu by high-speed rail train which takes you about 4 hours. After reaching and checking in at the hotel, you are free to explore. You can travel to Kuanzhai Alley or Jinli Street where you can appreciate old courtyards, small stores selling beautiful items and local specialty snack food.

Today is a China panda holiday! In the morning, you will head to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, one of the most famous panda conservation and research institutions. You can learn about the protection and breeding plan for pandas. Observe cute pandas playing and eating in their habitat. Feeding time in the morning is when pandas are most active.
At noon, you can enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine at a Sichuan restaurant. Then return to downtown Sichuan and visit the ancient Wenshu Monastery, a sacred temple of Tibetan Buddhism with rich Buddhist statues, scriptures, and murals. Sip a cup of traditional Chinese tea at a tea house and experience the slow life of Chengdu.
In the evening, you can taste Sichuan hot pot or watch the wonderful face-changing performance of Sichuan Opera by yourself. It's a self-financed event.

Drive to Leshan and visit the 71-meter-high Leshan Giant Buddha, the world's largest stone-carved Buddha statue. Take a boat trip to get close to the majestic Leshan Giant Buddha and amaze at the craft of this masterpiece. Another way to visit Leshan Giant Buddha is by climbing the mountain.
After enjoying lunch of Qiaojiao Beef, you will return to Chengdu and fly to the flourishing mega city, Shanghai. Upon arrival, your local private guide and driver will greet you and take you to the hotel for a rest. You are free to spend the rest of the day.

After breakfast, you will travel to Shanghai Museum where you can learn about Shanghai's culture and history. Head to Yu Garden, known for its Jiangnan-style design. Find delicious local snacks, drinks, unique souvenirs, and exquisite handmade products at Yuyuan Market (Yuyuan Old Street).
Visit Shanghai World Financial Center and look out over the iconic skyline of Shanghai from the observation deck. Check out the brand stores, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops on Nanjing Road. Then walk to the Bund, a landmark in Shanghai, and explore Broadway Mansions and Oriental Pearl Tower.
After dinner, enjoy a night cruise along the Huangpu River. Appreciate the lights on the buildings and landmarks, like the Bund, Lujiazui, Waibaidu Bridge, etc. The eastern bank is colonial-era European buildings while the modern western bank is renowned skyscrapers.
