Welcome to Beijing! Upon arrival, your private tour guide will meet you at the airport, and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. After checking into your hotel, you can take a break or wander around. If you have no idea where to go, you can consult your tour guide.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the world's largest city square, where Chairman Mao proclaimed the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Head north to the Forbidden City (also known as the Palace Museum) and discover the essence of Chinese traditional architectural art. It is the most completely preserved and largest wooden structure of ancient buildings in the world. For lunch, you will enjoy Peking roast duck at Siji Minfu Roast Duck Restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit Jingshan Park, an imperial garden of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Climb to the top of Jingshan, and you can enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the Forbidden City and downtown Beijing.
After dinner, enjoy the charm of Peking Opera at Beijing Liyuan Theatre, the most famous performance venue for Beijing Opera. You can try some local snacks and savor tea while immersing yourself in Peking Opera (also known as Beijing Opera).

After breakfast, take a private car and drive about 2 hours to the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu section. Mutianyu Great Wall is the best-preserved section of the Great Wall of China with stunning scenery and well-restored watchtowers.
Upon arrival, you can choose to walk up the Mutianyu Great Wall or ascend by the cable car. You can go down by these means, or challenge yourself to slide down by toboggan. You will have lunch at a restaurant at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall or savor Beijing specialties at a farmhouse restaurant.
In the afternoon, head to the Summer Palace, the best-preserved royal garden in the world. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage imperial garden, once used as a summer retreat by the Chinese royal court centuries ago. If the weather is good, you can go boating on Kunming Lake and feel close to nature. For dinner, you will be arranged to enjoy copper hot pot, a traditional Beijing delicacy.

In the morning, visit the Temple of Heaven where Chinese emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties pray for good harvest. Except for admiring the unique architectural art of this imperial sacrificial site, you may also join the local people to do morning exercises, such as playing Tai Chi, practicing calligraphy, flying a kite, or dancing with swords.
Drive back downtown and take a rickshaw to visit Beijing Hutongs. You can experience the traditional lifestyle of Beijingers in these narrow alleys and visit various antique shops and boutiques.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to Xi'an by high-speed train. After a five-hour high-speed train ride, you will be met by your local private tour guide at the train station.

Start your day by exploring the famed Terracotta Army at Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum, one of the greatest man-made wonders of the world. Each terracotta warrior has a unique appearance and lively manner. You can make a mini terracotta warrior with the guidance of a craftsman.
After lunch, head to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the Da Ci'en Temple. It’s one of the most well-known Buddhist pagodas in China with a history of over 1350 years. It was built under the supervision of Master Xuanzang for the study of Buddhist scriptures. You’ll also have the chance to wear Hanfu and take some Instagrammable photos. Hanfu is the traditional clothing of the Han Chinese. You’ll enjoy the Dumpling Banquet for dinner today.
In the evening, visit the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City to experience the flourishing Tang Dynasty of ancient China. You can enjoy a variety of dance performances and explore the blend of the culture of the Tang Dynasty and modern elements.

Visit the Shaanxi History Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda this morning and learn more about Xi'an’s history. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda and its 5 km away large neighbor Giant Wild Goose Pagoda are two important Buddhist pagodas built in the Tang Dynasty (618-709).
Then travel to Xi'an Ancient City Wall. You can stroll along the city wall and appreciate the beautiful scenery of the city. Or you can rent a bike and cycle around the wall. Continue to visit the bustling Muslim Quarter (also known as Huimin Street). It is the hub of the Muslim community in Xi'an. You can walk through the street, experience the Muslim culture, and taste local foods. Later, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Shanghai.

Today, you will visit the Shanghai Museum, one of the four major museums in China. You can enjoy the exhibitions, like coins, jade, furniture from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), and bronze ware. Then travel to Yu Garden to appreciate the unique beauty of Chinese garden art and visit the busy Yu Garden market.
Later, head to the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the observation deck to enjoy a bird's-eye view of Shanghai. Take a stroll on Nanjing Road, one of the busiest shopping streets in the world, with various coffee shops, modern buildings, international brand stores, and souvenir shops. Continue walking along the Bund with western historical buildings and amazing views of the modern skyline of the city across the Huangpu River. You will experience the blend of culture and modernity.
After dinner, take a sightseeing Huangpu River Cruise to appreciate the wonderful night scenery of Shanghai. You can experience the Bund, Lujiazui, and Garden Bright of Shanghai from a different angle.
