Welcome to Beijing! When you arrive at the airport, you will be met by your private tour guide and driver. After checking in at the hotel, you are free to explore Beijing by yourself.

After breakfast, you will visit Tiananmen Square, which is the largest public square in the world. Tour along the Beijing Central Axis to the next stop, the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum. The Forbidden City is the residence of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the largest and best-preserved ancient architectural complex in China. Follow your private guide to explore labyrinthine courtyards and halls and learn about the history and legends of this imperial palace complex.
Stop at a local restaurant on Wangfujing Street and taste Beijing Zha Jiang Mian (fried sauce noodles) or snacks for lunch.
In the afternoon, appreciate the sparkling Kunming Lake and the splendid royal palace buildings of the Summer Palace. Cruise the Kunming Lake in a dragon-shaped boat and enjoy the natural landscape surrounded by mountains and water on the lake. Then enjoy a Peking Opera performance. You can draw Peking Opera character masks on your kid's faces. Put on Peking Opera costumes and learn to sing Beijing Opera together.

Begin your today's family adventure at the Temple of Heaven which is famous for its peculiar architectural constructions and magnificent decorations. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, emperors offered sacrifices here. Now, you can see many locals doing morning excise.
Head to Mutianyu Great Wall which was once an astonishing defense project in ancient China. After taking the cable car up to the Great Wall, you can admire lofty mountains and unbeatable view. You can enjoy a hiking tour with kids and then take the toboggan ride down.
After visiting, you can have lunch at a farmhouse restaurant at the foot of Mutianyu Great Wall. In the afternoon, you will return to Beijing downtown and visit Beijing Olympic Park (the Olympic Green). You will visit the Bird's Nest and Water Cube and appreciate its unique design and architecture. For dinner, you can taste delicious and crisp Peking Duck.

Today, you will immerse yourself in Beijing's local life in Beijing Hutong. At Shichahai, you will take a rickshaw shuttle through the old alleys of Beijing. Explore quaint courtyard houses, craft shops, and aromatic food stalls. Visit the Beijing courtyard that George W. Bush once visited. Learn Chinese calligraphy, cricket fighting, and diabolo (Chinese Yoyo) from a local family. For lunch, you can enjoy Beijing's special copper hot pot.
In the afternoon, your tour guide will take you to the station and take the high-speed rail to Xi'an. After a 5-hour high-speed rail tour, you will arrive in Xi'an. Once settled in, you can have a break or explore Xi'an.

This morning, you will travel to Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum and visit the Terracotta Army. The Terracotta Warriors and horses are the burial objects of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. You will be shocked at this amazing man-made wonder when you see the lifelike terracotta soldiers. You can make your own mini terracotta warrior at a handicraft experience room.
After lunch, you will head to the Ancient Xi'an City Wall, one of the largest and well-preserved ancient city wall in China. Riding a bike on the Xi'an City Wall is a great way to experience it.
In the evening, get a flavor of nightlife in Xi'an at Muslim Quarter, a famous food and culture neighborhood in Xi'an.

In the morning, you will head to Shaanxi History Museum, and learn about Xian's history and culture from Tang dynasty frescoes and other cultural relics exhibitions. Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda which is a part of the UNESCO Silk Road site. Watch a shadow puppet play and learn about its history. You can color the shadow figures at a shadow play studio.
Dive into local life by visiting a local family. You and your family can learn to make dumplings and enjoy a dumpling feast.
In the afternoon, you will be taken to the train station and transferred to Chengdu by bullet train which will take you about 4 hours. After arriving, your tour guide will help you check in at the hotel.

The most important part of a trip to Chengdu is to meet the cute pandas! In the morning, you and your family will head to Dujiangyan Panda Base and take care of the pandas as a panda volunteer. You can learn how to feed them and help them clean their home.
Volunteer activities start at 8:30 a.m. Under the guidance of teachers, you will clean fences, collect pandas' feces, add bamboo to pandas, and observe pandas. There are many activities here that can immerse children in fun. You can make panda-themed souvenirs, such as making large panda toys or simple crafts and drawing pandas on a blank fan or lantern. Or you can prepare bamboo snacks for the pandas.
In the evening, you can travel to Jinli Ancient Street and discover delicious food for dinner. Food stalls along the old street offer various snacks, like beancurd jelly, crispy beef patty, spicy chicken skewers, etc. Watch the skills of Chengdu's traditional artisans, such as sugar figure blowing and dough figure making.

This morning, you will visit Wenshu Monastery, the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. The buildings, like halls, pagodas, and bridges showcase superb ancient architectural techniques and aesthetics. You can appreciate abundant Buddhist relics, such as statues, scriptures, murals, etc. Stop at a tea house and enjoy a cup of tea.
At noon, you can choose to savor Sichuan hot pot or Sichuan cuisine or watch the wonderful changing faces of Sichuan opera.
In the afternoon, you will fly to Shanghai.

After breakfast, you will visit Shanghai Museum. Explore Shanghai's past through the collection of artifacts. Travel to Yu Garden and immerse yourself in Jiangnan-style garden with exquisite pavilions and garden views. Then visit Yuyuan Bazaar where you can find authentic Shanghai snacks and interesting handicrafts.
Ascend the observation deck on the 100th floor of Shanghai World Financial Center and appreciate Shanghai skyline and modern skyscrapers. Check out the brand stores, souvenir stores, restaurants, etc at the shopping paradise - Nanjing Road. Stroll to the Bund where you can visit other Shanghai landmarks, such as Broadway Mansions and Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
After dinner, spend some quiet family time on a ferryboat on the Huangpu River. Feel the gentle breeze brushing against your face. Neon lights on both sides of the river. Appreciate the Waibadu Bridge and bustling Lujiazui with the ferry ride.
