Khaosan Road is one of the most lively sites in Bangkok during the annual Songkran Festival. Vendors sell food, drink, and equipment for water fights, such as water guns, waterproof pouches, goggles, etc. Live music and parties make everyone more excited.

Silom Road is a main Songkran site with a bustling scene. You can not only splash water with others but also taste various Thai cuisines. Today you will experience different Songkran Festival in Chiang Mai. Walk through Tha Phae Gate and visit Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh where you will join the Songkran carnival. You will witness the traditional Buddha bathing ceremony and feel the solemn and cheerful northern Thailand. Watch the float parade and appreciate light-decorated floats and dance performances. Local people will build pagodas with sand and decorate with colorful flags.

In the morning, drive about one hour to the ethical Elephant Jungle Sanctuary beside the Karen village which is located in densely forested mountains. You will participate in elephant care under the guidance of professional breeders, including bathing and feeding the elephants. After enjoying lunch at the elephant camp, you will return to the hotel in Chiang Mai. You can relax freely for the rest of today.
