Begin your Hokkaido summer tour with a visit to Asahikawa.
Your first stop is Asahiyama Zoo, where you can observe a variety of animals and their natural behavior from the unique enclosure. You may have chances to meet the animals being fed. Proceed to Asahikawa Ramen Village, a ramen complex offering eight ramen shops with a wide range of flavors of ramen. You can enjoy and compare different kinds of Asahikawa ramen for lunch.
In the afternoon, make your way to Clark Horse Garden and experience western horseback riding (with an instructor) in idyllic nature. Have a nice rest at the cafe with a small meal.
After today's tour, you will head to Furano and check into the hotel.

After breakfast, you will explore Shirogane Blue Pond in Biei. Immerse yourself in the stunning views of its sparkling blue hue and get spiritual in the peaceful atmosphere.
In the afternoon, continue to Farm Tomita with large fields of lavender flowers and other seasonal flowers. You can take pictures when you wander around the colorful flower fields and admire the scenery of Mount Tokachi. Check out the cafes, workshops, and shops to try various lavender-related products, like iconic lavender ice cream, lavender oil, lavender soaps, etc.

In the morning, you will transfer to Noboribetsu and discover Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley). Walking along the trails, you can watch volcanic activity around with sulfuric smells, which feel like hell. Soak your feet in the steaming hot spring waters.
Next, explore the nearby Noboribetsu Bear Park on the top of "Bear Mountain". You can get up close to free-roaming beer and feed them. Visit the museum in the park, where you can learn more about Hokkaido's brown bears.

After breakfast, enjoy an immersive exploration at Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, which is a themed park showcasing Japanese culture of the Edo Period. Explore life in the past and enjoy shows of ninja, samurai, and geisha. You can also experience other cultural activities, like traditional garment dress-up and ninja training.
In the afternoon, you will head to Lake Toya, a picturesque crater lake with famous hot springs. You can stroll along Lake Toya at a leisurely pace and appreciate the breathtaking views of Mt. Usu and Mt. Yotei. Enjoy a sightseeing boat trip to explore the islands in the lake.

Today morning, you will enjoy a day trip to Otaru and return to Sapporo later.
Visit the pleasant Otaru Canal and learn about its historical significance. You can pause to explore the stores and museums along the riverbank, which were warehouses in the past. Or you can choose to enjoy a 40-minute Otaru Canal Cruise and appreciate this beautiful canal from a different perspective.
Make your way to Kitaichi Glass, where you can find a glittering collection of glass products. Witness the glass-blowing process and try to make your own glassworks at the workshop. Step into the fairytale-like world - Otaru Music Box Museum and discover many kinds of crafted music boxes. Head to Sankaku Market for a foodie adventure, where you can sample fresh sushi, sashimi, seafood rice bowl, and more.
After visiting Otaru, drive to Sapporo and visit Shiroi Koibito Park. You can explore the factory for a deeper understanding of the chocolate production line and experience making your own unique cookies or chocolate.

Make your way to the Hokkaido Museum and the Historical Village of Hokkaido. There are interactive displays and collections that you can Hokkaido's rich history, nature, and culture, including indigenous Ainu culture. The Historical Village of Hokkaido offers chances to explore by horse-drawn tramway.
In the afternoon, head to Odori Park for a relaxing stroll and appreciate vibrant flowerbeds. From the observation deck of the Sapporo TV Tower, you can enjoy a broad view of Sapporo. Visit Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a lively shopping arcade with more than 200 shops, where you can buy unique Hokkaido souvenirs and taste local cuisine.
