In the morning, you will travel to one of the oldest temples in Japan — Senso-ji (also known as Asakusa Kannon Temple). After breakfast, you'll take a 2-hour journey through the iconic foothills of Mount Fuji to the foot of the mountain. You will enter an idyllic world and appreciate beautiful Mount Fuji from different angles. This snow-capped, perfectly shaped volcano is Japan's sacred landmark mountain and the highest mountain in the country.
Begin your Mount Fuji tour from Oshino Hakkai and Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine (Chureito Pagoda). You can find some great angles to photograph Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms. Then you will travel to Lake Kawaguchi, where you can take a boat tour or take the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway for a sweeping view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. If you are lucky, you may meet a rare view of "upside-down Fuji" when Mt. Fuji is reflected in the calm surface of the lake.

Today, you will visit Kinkaku-ji where you can see the temple adorned with gold leaf, and reflection in the lake. Then travel to the world heritage, Nijo Castle, and learn about Japanese culture. Nijo Castle is the hometown of the first shogun of the Edo period. When you walk across the "nightingale floor", you will hear a squeaking sound that resembles birdsong.
Head to Nishiki Market and taste all kinds of local food for your lunch. Nishiki Market is a food paradise known for its fresh produce, traditional desserts, and delicious street food. After lunch, you will head to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Thousands of vermilion torii in Mt. Inariyama make you feel the sanctity of the shrine. At last, you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kiyomizu Temple on Mount Otowa. Climb up to Kiyomizu Temple for a breathtaking panoramic view of Kyoto.
