Welcome to Beirut, Lebanon! This is the first day of this Middle East tour and Socotra tour. With our VIP Meet & Assist service, you will pass through fast-track airport customs and meet your local tour guide and driver. They will take you to the arranged sea-view hotel in Beirut for checking in (Recommended sea-view hotels: Raouché Arjaan, Lahoya, or Kempinski).

Later, explore the ancient ruins of Palmyra. Visit the Temple of Bel, the core landmark of the ancient city. Discover the Temple of Baalshamin and the Roman Theater. At the Roman Theater, you can take photos of the panoramic views on the stage. Admire the Arch of Triumph, a grand example of Roman engineering. In the morning, go through exit formalities and travel to Jordan. The time of the journey and the border inspection process may be quite long, so please be patient and cooperate. It is recommended to carry some snacks and water with you. After arriving in Amman, take a break in the hotel.
In the afternoon, explore Amman and visit the Amman Roman Theater, an iconic ancient landmark. Climb the Amman Citadel for stunning panoramic views of the city. Head to the market for a meal. Try local dishes like Mansaf, a classic Jordanian specialty.
In the evening, if you're not tired, you can experience the local night market. Or return to the hotel to organize gear for the next day's Petra hike.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast and then depart for Petra. The drive takes 3 to 4 hours. Stop to take photos of the rural landscapes and valley views along the way. Arrive in Petra and check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, go for a light hike. Explore the Siq Canyon and scout for photo spots.
In the evening, have dinner in Petra Town. Sleep early so as to be well-rested for the hiking tomorrow.

In the afternoon, hike to Ad-Deir (the Monastery), if you have enough energy. It involves 45-60 minutes of uphill stairs. Enjoy panoramic canyon views from the top and capture the stunning sunset. In the evening, return to your hotel. Experience a massage or relaxing activity to unwind.

In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic or Bedouin-style lunch in the red desert. The desert's unique red sand and rock formations create perfect photo backdrops. Continue exploring and taking photos after lunch.

Discover the National Museum of Iraq, which displays ancient cultural relics from the Mesopotamian region, including Babylonian and Assyrian relics.

At noon, have lunch on the way. In the afternoon, drive back to Muscat along the coastline. Pass through charming fishing villages and lush oasis canyons. Stop to shoot cliffside sea views and the striking contrast where oases meet the desert.
In the evening, arrive in Muscat and take time to relax. For dinner, dine at a beachfront restaurant and enjoy delicious cuisine while soaking in the night views.

In the evening, arrive in Cairo and settle into your hotel. Take time to adjust and rest.

Today is designated as a flexible buffer day to accommodate flight cancellations in Socotra, additional visa procedures, or personnel adjustments.
If all the procedures are completed, a Cairo city extension tour can be arranged. And you may visit the Khan al-khalili market or enjoy a Nile River cruise.
Please keep your phone on and pay attention to the team leader's announcements. Flight confirmations are often finalized within 48–72 hours before departure.

In the morning, depart from Cairo and head to the airport according to your flight schedule (usually weekly charters, which depend on final confirmation). Visa check before boarding the plane, presenting the electronic visa/approval letter arranged by the travel agency.
After arriving at Hadibo Airport, Socotra. You will be greeted by local representatives, then transferred to your campsite or hotel via private car or 4x4. Settle in and attend a safety briefing.
In the evening, take a short coastal walk, and you can capture the sunset. Then enjoy a dinner featuring fresh seafood and authentic local delicacies.
Your tour guide will provide an overview of the daily schedule for the next 7 nights, along with weather and shooting advice.

After breakfast, head to Dixam Plateau and admire the iconic dragon blood trees (Dracaena cinnabari) and otherworldly rift landscapes. Your guide will share insights into the ecology and history of the dragon blood tree. Embark on a short plateau hike, and you can shoot the unique trees with a wide-angle lens and a long-focus Lens.
At noon, enjoy a simple meal in a nearby village. Immerse yourself in local life by visiting residents' traditional houses.
In the evening, return to the campsite to rest. Stargazing explanations can be arranged during the night.

In the morning, head to Firmihin Forest, the densest concentration of Dragon Blood Trees in Socotra. Embark on a 2 to 4-hour hike in the Dragon Blood Tree forest. Explore deep into thick groves of these ancient trees and take pictures of their iconic umbrella-shaped canopies. Your guide will explain the formation and causes of the trees' shape.
In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic by the forest canyon, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and endemic flora. Continue chasing distinctive compositions for photography.
In the evening, return to the camp for dinner and review the materials from the day. And you can tidy up the batteries and memory cards.

The contrast of light within the forest is very strong. A full-frame lens and a variable ND filter can help control the exposure.

In the morning, get up early and head to Detwah Lagoon, a paradise for drone and wide-angle photography. The sandy beach and the lagoon water with a blue and white gradient, and the reflections in the water create an astonishingly beautiful scene. Hike along shallow shores and capture mirror-like reflections of the sky and surrounding landscapes. UAV photography can be arranged.
In the afternoon, you will continue to shoot by Detwah Lagoon for a long time. You can shoot color gradations with different angles and lighting conditions. In the evening, return to your campsite, and you can back up your materials and recharge.

The use of drones requires special permission and follows the rules. The drone should be kept away from bird flocks and residential buildings. A waterproof cover should be used to prevent moisture from the sea.

In the morning, after breakfast, head to Zahek Dunes, where you can experience a thrilling 4x4 off-road safari across undulating dunes and take photographs. Dive into sandboarding excitement! Glide down dune slopes and capture the aerial view of sand patterns and lines.
In the afternoon, head to an ideal sunset spot. Take photos blending portrait shots with scenic backdrops. In the evening, gather at the dune camp for a special dinner. If conditions allow, a desert bonfire will light up the night under the starry Socotran sky.

In the morning, board a traditional Dhow boat for a half-day to full-day sea journey (depending on the destination). Keep an eye out for playful dolphins and seabirds soaring above. Dive into the turquoise waters to discover vibrant coral reefs and a variety of marine life.
In the afternoon, savor a fresh seafood picnic (cooked on the boat or served on the island). On the return journey, you can take pictures of the coastline. In the evening, return to the campsite and sort through your photography materials.

In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic outside Hoq Cave. Embark on a short hike back to the campsite. The evening is for free time or cultural exchanges with local families.

Today, you can revisit shooting spots you like. You can book a drone or photography instructor to guide you along the way. Later, sort out and back up all the photos and videos. You can also visit a local craft market to pick up handcrafted souvenirs.
